Mission

Our mission is to provide Spanish/English evaluations for children/students, preschool through high school, who are learning English as a second language and are struggling academically or socially in school.  Naturalistic, dynamic assessment, and standardized testing procedures and tools are used in all areas of language and communication to differentiate between typical language/literacy acquisition and a communication disability.  Individualized recommendations and consultation/collaboration models are used with parents and teachers to develop appropriate tiered instruction or specialized instruction in speaking, listening, social interaction, thinking, reading, and writing.  The goal is to promote each student’s language learning, communication, and individual learning potential for social and academic success in school.
